I’m a published wardrobe stylist and image consultant with over 15 years of experience in the areas of fashion styling, image makeovers and personal shopping. I’m known for bringing undivided attention to each client; offering unlimited creativity and enthusiasm to every project. I’m always ready to create a wide array of looks—from very conservative and simple styles to more outrageous ones.
In addition to styling, I have covered Fashion Weeks as a reporter in New York, Miami, Tampa Bay, LA and was a special media guest at Caribbean Fashion Week in Jamaica. I have been a contributing fashion writer for a variety of online and print publications as well as a guest reporter for FashionTV Network. I have been so honored to be invited to be a returning style guest on NBC’s Daytime Show, Studio 10, FOX News 13, CNN, Los Angeles K-CAL9 and News KRON4.
I’ve had the most amazing journey working in fashion and so many opportunities have been presented to me, including being selected as a fashion and beauty expert writer for Tyra Banks’ beauty fashion website, TypeF.com. I worked as the lead managing stylist alongside TLC’s “What Not To Wear” image expert, Stacy London, during “The Style Tour”, a Westfield Mall and IMG Fashion collaboration. I hosted Macy’s “Fashion Challenge” and have also developed and delivered image seminars for Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, and a list of private clients.
I studied Fashion Merchandising and Design at the Southwest Art Institute and completed various courses of image consulting through Gillian Armour’s Fashion Image Institute. My on-going research in fashion forecasting and image rebranding combined with years of corporate marketing experiences lend great inspiration and attention to detail to my work. Some of my styling credits are GQ, Esquire, Maxim, Sports Illustrated, FHM, AT Magazine, DSS Magazine, Elegant Magazine, LUCKY Magazine and about.com. I have styled celebrities Shanola Hampton, Lydia Hull, Leigh Bush, Kéo and was the lead stylist for the Supremes reunion concert.
Throughout the years, I have personally cultivated the art of truly reinventing myself time and time again. There is a famous saying that goes, “I am the architect of my life; I build its foundation and choose its contents.” This describes me and my walk so accurately. I believe we are constantly growing and the more we are open to rebranding and restyling our outer and inner foundation and contents; the stronger we become.
I have always been intrinsically motivated—working towards the things I find personally and professionally fulfilling. Helping women truly feel good about themselves is something that fulfills me so much and this is why I am so creative, passionate and excited about what I do.
I look forward to working with you to help you discover (or rediscover) your style!
